My friend Ramsha called me for her birthday party and she told me that it would be certainly a hilarious. I wondered what could be hilarious at a birthday party. Nevertheless I decided to see it myself. So I went to buy a new gown and do a new hairstyle. Little did I know that I was in for a tweety welcome as I entered the Twee-Wee Saloon. I took a step inside and three tiny Sparrows came to me and said “Welcome – Welcome
Ma’am to the twee- wee saloon! How can I help you Ma’am.” Oh! My! A Sparrow too welcomes me! Where I have I come? I thought I want a hairstyle and are they going to make a bird nest out of my hair … I don’t want to even imagine what I would look like!! I said I want to do hairstyle, pedicure, manicure and to buy a gown for the party.
Sheepishly I look around the room was decorated with feathers and wings. The Owl shape camera and bird shape mirror only added to my fear I wish I had wings to fly away far away.
I was not to be spared; A Peacock came walking majestically to me with a comb and scissors… Oh! Oh! Is he my hair stylist? Oops…..where I am sitting? Why am I moving eh? An Ostrich! I sat nervously and was wondering if I was going to be the centerpiece at my friend’s birthday party...
The Peacock did my hairstyle very beautifully with feathers and beads.
Oh! Someone came to me but wait I glanced at the mirror and saw a beautiful Nightingale entertaining me with her masterpiece song. Flamingo was showing me some nice gowns and that did not seem to be the end…. Duck offered me with orange juice but I refused. I told that I want mango juice please. She bought it quickly with her quack-quack sound. But Oh! God it is not cold so Penguin came running with ice-cubes. I saw Crows and Seagulls cleaning the saloon.
Hey who was that? It was the Parrot all set for my pedicure and manicure. With its beak it was tickling me and I was giggling. But it did not seem to understand my taste while putting the maroon nail polish for me when I wanted pink. I could not take it any more I flared and yelled I wanted only
PINK! PINK!
Hey! Wait a moment suddenly my mother came and woke me up and said “Wake- up wake- up., it is 5.30 or you will be late for school!” Oh! It was just a dream. But I really wish that Twee- Wee Saloon was real.
